About Me

Charlotte Murray

I firmly believe that a good primary education sets you up for life. It is a real privilege to help shape the society of the future. Having been a primary school teacher for many years, I am now keen to support children with their educational journey through private tuition.

I have a wealth of experience in teaching primary aged children the National Curriculum. As a National Leader in Education I have also spent much of my time supporting other schools across Bradford, Craven and Richmondshire with their phonic and reading practice. During this role, I coached, supported and trained leaders, teachers and support staff to ensure the quality of education provided to their children was of the highest standard. I worked directly with the Department for Education with this role and used proven effective research to support me.

I have spent time training and supporting trainee teachers ensuring they are prepared for the classroom as well as can be.

Making learning fun and engaging is important, however, keeping learning as simple as possible is best for our children and an approach I will be using throughout my tutoring sessions.
